Trust

Safety & Trust

Verification, privacy and reputation reduce risk — they never remove it. Here is exactly what Matchly does, and what stays your judgement.

How Matchly reduces risk

Verified identities

Members and businesses complete the applicable checks before a Matchly Verified seal is displayed.

Private by default

Public listings show a first name or business name only — never surname, email, phone, bank details or verification evidence.

Separate discovery and connection

Contact information is exchanged only when a connection is deliberately activated.

Reputation you can read

Verified Reviews come from real Matchly activity, and new accounts are labelled rather than hidden.

Reporting built in

Any member, Order or Match can be reported to the Matchly team for review.

Safety

No financial marketplace can eliminate every risk. Matchly uses verification, reputation, platform controls and reporting mechanisms to reduce certain risks.

Privacy

Personal marketplace listings use limited public identity information such as first name, verification status, relevant Order information and reputation rather than exposing a full private profile.

Verification

Verification helps Matchly establish who is behind an account, reduce duplicate accounts and misuse, and support applicable trust and compliance requirements.

Practical rules to follow

Never share a link or code from a Matchly email

Matchly staff will never ask for it, and Matchly never sends codes by text message.

Agree the details in writing

Amount, rate, any fee, method and timing before anything moves.

Be cautious with pressure

Urgency, unusual payment routes and requests to move off Matchly are warning signs.

Meet safely

Where a method involves meeting in person, choose a public, staffed location.

Report early

If something feels wrong, stop and report it before sending money.
